Over the past 5 years, Company Partners has served in excess of 15000 clients, of which 20% purchase additional services after 1 year, and a further 10% invested in monthly subscription packages.

Managing Director – Ilana Steyn
Ilana is a well-respected and subject expert with over 20 years’ experience in the ‘legal secretarial’ environment and is responsible for business operations and day-to-day management of the company
Director – Liam Stander (co-founder)
Liam is a B.Com (Stellenbosch) graduate, Liam focusses on the future vision of the company, business development and growth initiatives.
Director – MJ (Ian) Gouws (co-founder)
Ian has a B.Acc. (Stellenbosch) and is responsible in his role as Online Director, offers brilliant marketing, accounting and system skills and his entrepreneurial insight was key in the creation and building of Company Partners as a business.
Company Partners has two executive managers and five team leaders who, based on continual training and leadership, are responsible for the daily management and execution of the business.
The business presently employs 32 permanent staff (including directors and management).
A network of sub-contract specialists has been developed and relationships built with the “best of breed” talent available in SA for specialised compliance services at SARS, DOL, NHBRC, CIDB, Nedbank and FNB.
The original business registered Closed Corporations and was formed 12 years ago (2006) and relaunched under a new brand in 2013.
Company Partners head office is based in Hoheizen, Cape Town, with a representative office in Johannesburg and representing agents via 3@1 Business Centre’s in all nine provinces. 95% of clients are served on-line.

History and Milestones
2006 – Ian started Business Care CC as a one-man-show registering Closed Corporations at CIPC for clients. This project came to a halt in 2010 as Ian diversified his business activities.
2013 – Liam Stander and Ian Gouws relaunched the business from scratch – with no capital. The business turned over R30k in month 1, providing online company registration services, using this website: www.ptycompanyregistration.co.za From these humble beginnings, the Company Partners brand was established and has now grown into a leader in the field.
2014 – BEE certification and FNB bank account service was added. The team grew to 5 with an average monthly turnover of R200k.
2015 – A licensing program was introduced, enabling quicker growth. SARS services were introduced. The online work-flow system was introduced. The team grew to 10, with an average monthly turnover of R500k.
2016 – Ilana Steyn joined Company Partners, focussing on developing the team culture, the brand and leaders within the business. The team grew to 18 with an average monthly turnover of R1m.
2017 – Launch of the maintenance plan model, enabling accounting and other subscription service offerings. The team grew to 22, with an average monthly turnover of R1,5m
2018 – Launch of the franchise model, leveraging the brand, system and client base. The team grew to 32, with an average projected monthly turnover of R2,2mil and an evergreen debit order book.
